About this site

A reference for the native PC recompilations of Ocarina of Time, built from the projects’ own public data.

What this site is

ocarinarecomp.wiki collects what the three projects publish (README files, release notes, release files and issue trackers) and arranges it for people deciding what to download and whether their PC can run it. Release tables, file sizes and SHA-256 values are generated directly from the GitHub Releases data of sostenesfreitas/ocarina-recomp, NotRexed/Hookshot and coccofresco/TriAevum; the rest is written by hand and checked against the same sources.

Independence

This is an independent site. It is not run by, affiliated with or endorsed by sostenesfreitas (Miojo), NotRexed, coccofresco or any other contributor to these projects, or by Nintendo. The Legend of Zelda and Ocarina of Time are trademarks of Nintendo; project names belong to their authors. Statements in quotation marks are the projects’ own words.

What this site will not do

  • Host or mirror any file: no installers, executables, games, ROMs, keys or firmware. Every download button points to the project’s own GitHub release.
  • Explain how to obtain, dump, decrypt or extract game files. Each project needs a copy you own.
  • Publish builds generated from a game.

How it is kept current

The projects release several times a day. The release data is fetched again and the site rebuilt when they publish; the footer of every page shows the versions and date last checked (currently November 8, 2026). Status tables and known-bug lists are reviewed at the same time.

Pages carry display ads, and the requirements and controller pages link to controllers on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, this site earns from qualifying purchases. Neither affects which project is recommended for which setup.
